We are almost ready for the Eco Dens on the 2nd of April!!
Tomás a boy from 4th won from his class with only one tie breaker and Cathal a boy from 6th won the 5th - 6th one with only one tie breaker also !!!!
Jenny a girl from 3rd class was the winner of the 1st-3rd quiz there was several tie breakers. The 4th-6th quizzes were used for the tie breakers.
Today we’re going to have the quizzes, the Guardian news paper is going to be here and we’re going down to Fr Jim our parish preists house to plant wildflower seeds.
We are going to put these in our local garden centres. All you have to do is write your comments on the pieces of paper provided and slip it in to the comment box. We will check the comment boxes every two weeks.
How to use our comment boxes
We are holding our Biodiversity Day on Thursday the 28th of March. We cant wait to have so much fun. On this day there will be a quiz, everyone will find out the winners to the slogan competition, we will read the picture book to Junior and Senior infants and our principal even got people from the Guardian newspaper to come to school! All of the pupils and teachers in the school are really excited!
We are very busy writing letters to loads of different people to ask for permission to sow wildflowers around Ballindaggin, making posters and comment boxes to put in our local garden centres and preparing for our Biodiversity Day in school on the 28th of March! We cant wait to have loads of fun!
